Cailleach is a one-of-a-kind 32ft canal boat, whose size, shape, and design are truly unique on the waterways. With three berths, a stunning wet room, and a beautiful open kitchen/living area, she is move-in ready as a liveaboard vessel.
She is powered by a reliable in-built Mercury 9.9 HP outboard engine, which was fully serviced in July 2024 and makes for simple and uncomplicated cruising. Her structure has been lovingly maintained, including recent exterior painting completed in July 2025.
She has a custom canvas cratch frame and cover that extends the usable space at the stern and a lovely open deck at the bow. Her railings and relatively high placement in the water provide a sense of security by design. This may be particularly welcome for new and female boaters.
On board, her systems are all in excellent working order. This includes a 250 L water tank, Shur-Flo freshwater pump, and Morco instant water heater. The 12v and 240v electrical system is powered by three solar panels, supporting one starter and two leisure batteries.
Her green-tiled wet room is a show-stopper, and is fitted with a Compoost compost loo and Whale-Gulper grey water pump. An extra-large two-sided multi-fuel stove keeps her especially cosy during the chillier months.
Cailleach’s BSS is valid until 2027, and she was last blacked with 2-part epoxy in August 2024. Named for the Celtic goddess of winds and storms, she has been a fantastic partner in my exploration of London’s canals as a continuous cruiser these past few years. Cailleach is now ready to welcome her next captain on board.
